Yes, the orange light indicates that it’s time to descale the machine. You can do that by following these steps: 1. Turn on the coffee machine; 2. Pour the descaling product into the water tank and mix it with water using the ratio indicated on the packaging of the descaler. You should end up with about 0.6 l of liquid; 3. Move the lever so that it points towards the side of hot water preparation and hold it for around 10 seconds, then release it. The button on the coffee machine will start flashing; 4. Move the lever so that it points towards the side of hot water preparation again. Over the next few minutes, part of the water and descaler mixture will be released. Once that’s done, the lever will automatically return to the original position; 5. Move the lever so that it points towards the cold waterside. Over the next few minutes, the coffee machine will release the remaining water and descaler mixture. Once that’s done, the lever will automatically return to the original position; 6. Wash the water tank and fill it up again with clean water. Move the lever so that it points towards the side of hot water preparation. The coffee machine will release all of the water from the tank and the lever will automatically return to its original position; 7. Clean the capsule holder and pour water into the water tank.
